Foundational Instruction for Teachers of Students

with Moderate to Significant Disabilities

 

Students with moderate to significant disabilities within Oakland County receive their instructional programs within local school districts or county center programs. This is inclusive of Pre-K through post high school learners with complex communication needs, multiple disabilities, and moderate to significant intellectual disabilities that participate in alternate state assessments and achievement standards.

Comprehensive extended learning, professional learning opportunities, resources, networking and teacher leadership opportunities, all with an emphasis on research-informed instructional practices, are available to assist staff in providing high quality instruction
