Informal Dispute Resolution
Informal dispute resolution refers to a number of collaborative methods for resolving special education concerns or formal complaints.
Oakland Schools provides consultation to parents and public school personnel regarding a variety of methods for resolving disputes.
Parties engaged in a dispute are encouraged to consider use of the Oakland Mediation Center if formal dispute support is desired.
